On 24 October 1965 I was on a mission commanded by Major Taylor to an Air Show in Christchurch, New Zeland. The aircraft was put on display at an Air Show for two days. We did one demo flight to impress the crowds with the performance of the C-141A. This flight on aircraft 40623 was the first C-141A to cross the equator. Flight Order 1232, 44th Military Airlift Squadron, Travis AFB, California.
