Unused Bed for Sale

I'm trying to sell a bed I recently purchased via eBay - it was a bit of an impulse purchase and in all the frenzy of the final few seconds of bidding I ended up as the winner.

Now that it's arrived my wife says it doesn't go with any of the other furniture we have and that, she'd never be able to give any of her friends the obligatory 'house tour' when they visit if this bed is in the master bedroom.

What do women know about taste anyway? Most likely she just doesn't like the color of the bedspread and throw pillows. Not being very creative she just can't see past that little problem, which of course is easily resolved. I've tried everything I can think of to appease her and even suggested that we could put in the guest room, which has a really old crappy bed with a mattress that's only two inches thick (guaranteed to encourage short stays, according to the salesman). Personally I'd like our guests to have a real nice experience when they stay with us and in my opinion this bed would do just that.

However, she is adamant about not having it in "her" house. Last time I looked, my name is on the mortgage papers too. I saw a bed very similar to this one on one of the 'home makeover' cable shows hosted by one of those 'Brokeback' decorators just last week. I ask you, who's got better taste than those "guys"?

I can't send it back because the seller refuses to accept returns. He says his wife told him to get rid of it too, which is why I got such a good deal on eBay.

The bed frame is 100% hand carved teak and imported from India. The mattress is orthopedic, brand new, and hasn't been slept on.

I thought I would give you guys first dibs, but if you know of anyone else who might be interested please forward this on as I'd like to sell it ASAP.

I haven't set a price as yet, but if you're interested let me know and we'll work something out.

Anyway, scroll down and have a look and let me know.
