The info on the back of this photo indicated that it was the first C-141
accepted
by MATS == 19 October 1964. Assigned to the 1707 Air Transport Wing at Tinker
AFB
OK. Received by General Howell Estes, Commander of MATS. This a/c was dubbed
"Spirit of Oklanhoma City" and was later assigned to Dover AFB, then transferred
to Charleston on 10 July 1971.
