C-141 Tail Number:65-0261

A Canada Goose, flying VFR without a flight plan had a fight about airspace with 50261 over Ohio in February of 2000. The C-141 won the argument, but showed its scars. Air Force photos.

The light of day showed the full results.

Taking a page straight from the Air Force Survival Manual, and showing great resourcefulness, the crew tried to microwave it so they could have a warm meal after landing. The radar has no 'preset' for goose, so they over-cooked it a bit.

Hey Marge!!! Look what I brought home for dinner!!
