This next set of photos was sent to C141heaven by Andreas Stryk from Frankfurt,
Germany. Here's his note:
I got hold of an inheritance of an airplane spotter. He started in the early
60's with pictures until 2021 when he died. The family asked me to do something
useful with it. Instead of put everything on ebay, I checked all the pictures he had
taken. He was a DC-8 Fan but did pictures of every plane he got hold of. This set of
6 pictures a clearly taken in Germany - German fotopaper and the cars are German
ones.
He lived close to Duesseldorf but I’m sure they were taken at the old Munich Airport
(Riem).
I hope you enjoy the pictures. I live very close to the Frankfurt (airport) and it
was
the most important thing as a kid in 70s was to visit the open house at the Frankfurt
Airbase back then to have a look into all the planes and had some ice cream. I always
loved the C-141 Starlifter most - but more the stretched version and the “white top”
ones ;o).
