C-141 Places
I've Been Everywhere

This photo was sent in by Larry Reynolds, a retired FE. It was taken in Darwin Australia on December 30th, 1974. The town was hit by a cyclone. Two 141's, one from 14th and one from 53rd MAS Norton AFB Ca were diverted from Sydney and hauled survivors to where ever they could be put up in Australia. There were 233 people sitting on the floor as there were no passenger seats on board.

These photos were sent in by Gary Widmer. At the time they were taken he was the youngest A/C in MAC, at 24 years old. He flew C-141s from 1969 thru 1973 and was stationed at Norton AFB, assigned to the 15th MAS and 53rd MAS.
